In March of 2011, when R&J Records released Aaron Lewis' Town Line, it's safe to say that it raised some eyebrows, debuting at #1 on the Country Albums Chart and #7 on the all-genre Top 200 Albums Chart. Heavy airplay on CMT and GAC, both on the networks and online, contributed significantly to the stellar first-week numbers.

By September of last year, "Country Boy" had been viewed well over 10 million times on YouTube alone, and had become somewhat of an anthem at Aaron's live shows, often causing crowds to chant "USA, USA..." The single had been downloaded more than 500,000 times, prompting its Gold certification by the RIAA.
